Accessibility;
How TrebamGume works for everyone - and how to reach us if something doesn't.
Our commitment
TrebamGume is committed to making its tyre finder usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, in line with the European Accessibility Act.
Conformance status
The site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA: most of it meets the standard, and we fix gaps as we find them. Measures already in place include:
- All finder and filter dropdowns are fully keyboard operable (arrow keys, Home/End, Enter, Escape) with a visible focus indicator.
- Text colour contrast meets the AA 4.5:1 ratio.
- A skip-to-content link, landmark regions and descriptive headings support screen-reader navigation.
- Animations are reduced or removed for visitors who set the "reduce motion" preference.
- A built-in text-size control enlarges content up to 150% without loss of function.
Known limitations
Some third-party content (for example manufacturer tyre-label images and external product photos) may not carry full alternative text. We are working to improve these. If you hit a barrier, please tell us - see below.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) and common screen readers on desktop and mobile.
Feedback
If you find an accessibility barrier, or need information in a different format, contact us and we'll respond as soon as we can:
Preparation of this statement
